Quick timing question

OK, I just picked up my "newest" first gen, and compared to my other truck(93), this truck(92) vibrates less and is quieter out the exhaust. Is this characteristic of the timing being bumped?

Every truck I bumped the timing on did not chang exaust noise. I did smooth rough starting and rough idle.

When I switched my injectors over to the PDR 190's even my neighbours commented on how much quieter my truck became... 4 out of my 6 were in bad shape, and from inside the truck I couldn't tell, but it definitely idles smoother too... .

When i had a shop adjust my timing i noticed it became noticably quieter out the exaust when the timing was advanced,but my truck was timed way too slow at the time.

I have noticed the same thing when timing has been bumped slightly.
