Competition Drag Racing in Pa on Saturday 7/30

Competition NHDRA Decal spotted in.........

OK so hear is the deal.

I have an 02 5speed with 423/1150

The South Bend OFE will not hold the 2-3 shift or the 3-4 shift at the track

I am not "power shifting" .

I need a clutch that can hold up to say 500/1200 with twins

And not be to tuff to drive in stop and go trafic.

Any Ideas?

Haisley street drag is an awesome dual disc with better street manners than any other dual disc made due to the material one the discs and the strapped floater design. I know a couple guys running them and they drive only slightly diferent than a single with a very resonable price.

I second that!Just finished putting mine in and it is great!I have no problems with going through the gears the same as with the stock clutch. This clutch has great street manners and also tows very well for a dual disc. On the track they hold really good. No problem with 3rd gear starts. :D

I am very happy with my enterprise engine dual disk pulling clutch. . When i first put it in it was real grabby but after a few hooks on the sled its as smooth as a babys butt... I think its rated at like 2800foot ponds

And yes I can still speed shift very fast with this clutch it does not have counter weights like some other pulling clutches. .

I'll 3rd the Street Drag praise. I've had mine for over a year now without a hint of problem, and I beat on it regularly. No problem holding the power I give it :)

Depends on what you consider 'tough to drive'. Are you looking for something that isn't grabby or doesn't rattle or what? I daily drive my SBC Iron Giant and think the manners are much better than everyone makes them out to be.

"Tuff to drive"= One leg bigger than the other do to heavy clutch pedal.

I don't want to swim in circles now do I.

I use the truck for work and hear in Seattle Wa. It can take up to 3 hours to go 45-50 miles up the freeway. I also tow a big boat but mainly I would like one I can drag race with, do the stop and go thing in traffic and tow my boat. I don't care if its Grabby or rattles. I had an south bend FE in my old truck it was grabby but worked fine.
