and at no point do they plan to start. maybe lorenz should pull the deaver logo from there website . buyer beware, you may not be getting what you payed for. no more from me on this discussion.
The KORE Race Series offers maximum travel and off road performance.
To accomplish this Kore has designed the shock to maximize shaft travel.
Again, I would like to point out that the KORE Fox shock still has 1/8th of an inch left that has not been wiped.
That is why you see 1. 5 inches of shaft showing in the photo on the right. It appears in this photo that "coil bind" is limiting bump travel. You can see the rust where the fatigue is setting in from the bind.
Without having both trucks here for a side by side. It is difficult to determine what is really going on.
I really can't discuss anything in more detail than this online. If you have further questions Jake, feel free to call me at any time.

Lorenz said:Everybody goes to Deaver to get custom leaves done except for you poor Dodge guys. Not only are these guys, over at DesertRangers.com, asking if they can get Deavers for their trucks, but their asking WHICH Deavers they should get... There's not only ONE type of Deaver configurations for a truck; there are multiple! Congratulations KORE for limiting our options as Dodge enthusiast.
Greg's response to this on TDR has been you can't get "Donahoe's Ford designed Deavers," so why should you be able to get KORE's design? If you look closely at Deavers site, you can see you can get multiple Ford designs, but for anything Dodge we're referred to a KORE link.
Lorenz said:Great investigative work... If you would've emailed, called or contacted me outside of your post that got LOCKED ON TDR , I would've told you everything you found out. It's no secret, I've emailed the story multiple times or written about the situation on TDR before. I'll respond to "Gotcha" post but I'd rather stick to the "facts mamm, just the facts".
The story goes something like this. The pictures of the leafs on my website are indeed Deaver leafs. Deaver designed them for me and my personal truck. After asking Deaver to produce them for me, They told me they couldn't, but wanted me to take the design elswere. The reasons for this is all over TDR at this point. So, my leafs were made by Deaver, designed by Deaver, and manufactured elsewere. Thus, I removed all references and descriptions on my leaf page that referred to Deaver. I removed their logo from above their leaf pack on my site, and replaced it with my logo. The Deaver references, in my description of my leaves, were deleted after they asked me to have them made else where. I left their link on the front page because I still refer customers over there every chance I get. When asked, I'm very up front about all of it. It's all been posted on in one form or another right here on TDR.
Our companies left on great terms. I still recommend them to design custom leaf packs even if Kent or Greg now has to be involved in the Dodge deals.
This is a great example of how the industry has changed in the last year or two. Take a look at this Race site.
Which Deavers???

Could somebody chime in here with their own experience in dealing with Deaver and Dodges. My intent in referring everybody I can over to Deaver for a custom leaf pack is to loosen the reigns a bit. I want to see everybody who owns a Dodge, be able to get what they want from the guys who know springs best. It's only a matter of time before Dodge owners can get what we want, if, we all keep asking...
