Hi guys,
First post here, would like to start by saying that this site ROCKS! I really enjoy reading al the posts and to learn from them.
While I was reading about the P7100 tweaks I was playing with my own 160 pump to see where all the stuff is located and to see how they work. It's from a '95 engine that I'm building for a '81 blazer.
I noticed that the rack does not travel freely forward when I pull the throttle linkage(with shutdown lever up). I have to help it a little to get it moving, same thing when I release the throttle. The rack spring does not push the rack back by itself. Is this normal for a pump that's not turning??
Last time this pump pumped is at least one year ago, but it should be OK.
Thanks for any help/comments.
