View attachment 97408Here is were I saw a splice point with the matching wire code of white with a tan stripe coming from which I not sure is the same location Bob4x4 said would be at the body control module C5/E Pin 30 and C6/F Pin 6.The Pin 30 wire splice's in at with the Pin 6 wire then it makes it way back to the CHMSL.It is between the 2 black tape strips. If you look closely you can see one of the white/tan stripe wires just above my tape cut mark it was to free up the bundle to explore that splice I found right there..

Excellent if this is the tap-in point then when the Cargo Lamp button is engaged there should be power to the bed lamps as well.My choice of connector was going to be a splice terminal fitting.

It works just fine Sag,thank-you for the wiring diagram and the logic understanding without your help and Bob4x4 I would not been able to understand this BCM wiring logic. So guys just to give you a heads up.The 2016 Mopar Cargo bed lamps will work on the 2014-2015 Ram trucks, when you get to step 16 stop there on the installation. You will not need the remaining steps. Just drill a small hole into the manual transmission cover pad and feed the postive wire through the cover once inside route down to the kick panel, you will have to splice in some more wire with a splice connector to reach the splice point located just a few inches from the kick panel.Take a splice connector and insert both wire into the connector just in front of the factory splice. Now just to make sure everyone understands you are splicing into the C6/F Pin 6 wire not the sister wire that comes in from the C5/E Pin 30.See above picture, that Sag and I were discussing about...You will see the two wire and see the wire that you need to splice in to it. It is plain as day. Test the circuit by engaging the Cargo Lamp button and your LED rear bed lights should come on.I thought that the BCM logic would sense a voltage difference for the addition LED Lamps. But no DTC codes were found after I let the LED lamps run for around a hour. They were not warm to touch also which came as a surprise. So this is just the amount of time it takes for me to hitch up to my 5th wheel on a early morning pull.Hey Sag thank-you once again. No more head lamps to wear and mess up my nicely comb hair in the morning..A shout out also to Bob4x4 for the pin location for the BCM.Man for just 129.99 I have Cargo Bed lamps, also there is no need to good to the dealership and have then install the LPL sales code,so you will not be out the 100.0 plus for the update....:)
