OK, let me be more clear. First, there are varying degrees of compatibility. There were some earlier Ford and GM ITBCs that would not work with EOH disc brakes, period. Some of the hydraulic brake controller manufacturers made buffer modules to solve these incompatibilities; some didn't and forced the use of aftermarket brake controllers in lieu of the Ford and GM ITBCs. Others, such as the 2010 and 2011 Ram ITBC, were not optimized for EOH disc brakes like the 2012 and up Ram ITBC which has specific settings for EOH light and EOH heavy; the only adjustable variable in the 2010 and 2011 Ram ITBC was the gain setting. That notwithstanding, some hydraulic brake controllers might not work at all with the Ram, but others do - such as the Carlisle that (AFAIK) is used in our DRV Mobile Suites. Might my rig work better with the 2012 and up Ram ITBC - almost certainly, but to state that it is incompatible with no other qualifiers lumps it into the same category as the Ford and GM ITBCs that didn't work at all, and that is not correct.
