Well I put on my Ranch 9000's last week and am not regretting the purchase. Ordered from Sams Offroad Monday morning on the internet and the following Monday a box was on my steps. Good shipping and a good price.
Took about 2 hrs to install the four. I am now in the market for a bigger impact wrench. Those lug nuts resist removal with a normal 1/2" drive wrench!! I am somewhat concerned about having to change a tire on the road.
The Rancho shocks are noticably heavier (weight) than the OEM shocks.
Set the rears on 1 and the fronts on 4. Drove to Reno and back and the ride was greatly improved. Not like a Caddy but TOLERABLE. Picked up 25 surplus money bags to fill with sand for some weight in the rear. Hope this helps some more.
With the NEW Rancho 9000x shocks there are 9 positions of adjustment. How do they compare to the old 5 position? Is the 1 same as the old 1? Is the 9 the same as the old 5?
