Turned on left turn signal today and got a rapid signal inside. Left rear tail light turn signal in the back shows 3 small LED lights out in middle row.
How do I fix this?
@Lordsman, Unfortunately, it looks like the only fix may be a new tail light. LED's work off of a voltage arraignment. LED's can only work with about 1.2 volts DC each. That's why resistors need to be used with them. If you feel adventurous, you could see if there is a bad solder joint that caused them to not work. With all the jarring that they go through, that wouldn't surprise me if that's what happened. Already broke, doesn't hurt to take a look. Be ready to drop more coin! Good luck.
Not to hi-jack this thread but I have an LED question also. Friend of mine swapped out his pickup bed for a CM flat bed that has LED's. Turn signals on the flat bed flash at a normal rate but on his dash, they flash rapidly. Why the difference?
@GroundSquirrel, What year truck? In AlfaOBD there are change you can make to change to LED for flash and bulb out notice. Hope that helps with your issue.
