I have been reading the past articles on the disc brake conversions for these trucks. Some people have tried the upgraded wheel cylinders but I am wondering if this gains anything on a 3500? I see guys do it to the 2500s.

I also was trying to get on egr's website but cannot for some reason? Anyone else have this problem? Thanks for any advice!

3500s also gains by using Chevy wheel cylinders. Ram = 1'' bore, Chevy = 1 3/16'' bore.

My bore #'s may be off but you get the idea.

ewcmr2 is right--you can still upgrade to larger wheel cylinders. You do already have the 3" wide shoes.

Another thing you can do is to do the proportioning valve bypass. The proportioning valve is mounted on the driver's side frame rail by the rear axle. There's a TSB that Dodge came out with for performing the bypass, and you can find the details on Dave Fritz's site, dodgeram.org.
