Attention: TDR Forum Junkies I'm coming up on the 15K maintenance number, and want to replace the stock rear diff cover with a Mag Hytek cover to simplify maintnenace in the future. I believe from reading previous posts that this unit will take 8 qts of fluid.
My question is that of what type fluid do I use. Friction modifiers or no f. m. s? I have an 04 SO 2500 4x4 with the 5 speed manual. I think I'd like to go the synthetic route. Will an AMS Oil product do the trick?
