2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission rear end bounce/shake?

I have a shake,bounce,vibration in the rearend.

I have replaced the u-joints 3

new center bearing

driveline balanced twice

tires balanced 3 times.

It seems to be constant with speed.

What might it be??? I have some thoughts but interested in what others might say.

Hard to say, more details of the problem would be helpful. Your tires could be out of round, which would take a road force balancer to fix. A wheel could be bent, warped drum, brakes grabbing, bad shocks, or even a combination of the bunch.



Are you positive it is coming from the rear end? Right now I am tracking a vibration that I was positive was the ujoints. I replaced those with no change in the vibration. The strange thing is my grand cherokee has been making the same noise at the same speed and I haven't found that one yet either.

sorry all so forgot to say that that I had replaced the front springs with better ones for the OEM's were sagged out in about a year and a half. It does sit up highter and ???? if this is the reason??? (lower the steady bearing) Tires could be they are due for replacment early fall. but for the last year???? Michelin M&S tires. Some of the rims were replaced because of out of round several years ago. Should have been replaced under warranty.

My guess is tires. I put on 315s and the rear would bounce at 40-42mph. Took them back and they failed on a road force test - the shop could not get them in spec. So they replaced the tires and all was good - for about a year. Now it is coming back. Belt shift maybe?
