2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission rear-end instead of front-end leveling kit?

hello! i have a 98 12v short bed 4x4. i could be wrong but i think i saw something somewhere about a leveling kit that was installed on the rear end, (i guess smaller blocks under the leaf springs) and seemed alot more affordable than the common 2" coil spacers up front. i know the spacers are cheap themselves but the install cost is not, at least not at the 4wd shops ive called. i dont run big tires or anything so having the rear end drop a couple inches wont hurt anything. anyway, just wondering if there was something out there, thanks
