Does anyone have suggestions on a distinct vibration, seemingly from the rear. The 4W lever even shakes. This started when I had the rear diff yoke seal replaced (dealer). The vibration/shake was immediately noticeable, turned around, and mech thought the u-joints may have had dirt/mud in them, and now w/o same they probably were worn (~150K miles). Had both rear-shaft u-joints replaced. Now, when the recent gumbo was washed off the wheels, no change. Had both rear wheels re-balanced (out a couple of ounces). Problem still there.
Question, could the yoke and/or the pinion gear have been replaced NOT in original mating, hence out-of-balance situation? Perhaps the front drive shaft u-joints?
