Rear seat center head rest

Was wondering if the center headrest is an anybody elses way to see out the back window. And has anyone been able to remove it all the way out. A pain in the ***.

If it has the 2 plastic grommets to mount it you just depress the little buttons on the sides and lift

My dad removed his to see his hitch and kingpin connection better.

Took mine out since day 1, car seat in the middle so don't need it.

I have removed it in all 3 trucks I have owned since new. Press the little button on the side of the collar on the back of the seat and lift.

Ok thanks That's how I thought it was done will work on that. Yes it does get in the way to see kingpin hitch and connection.

I remove my center head rest for a better view of hooking up our 5er. I have found, if you raise the bench seat up, the back tilts forward a bit for easier removal. At least on my 2012.

I have a friend that had his hailed out & exsposed. I will try to get a look @ it before he replaces it.

Well pushed the little button on the side lifted up still won't pull all the way out maybe i'm not doing it right I have the cargo camera day time to much glare, Can it be adjusted if so please tell me how.

Mine has been on the top shelf of my bedroom closet since the first time I tried to hitch our 5th wheel with this truck.
