can anybody recommend a cover for the rear seat in my QC that will work better than the two beach towels that I currently use? something that my dog's claws won't shred & that I can throw in the wash on occasion.

TIA,
Brian

Just put in Wet Okole seat covers. Very tough and very durable. A little pricey but your dog will not harm them at all.

I had the full front and rear custom done with a cool Rams head on the front two seats. If you want to see pictures, email me.

We bought a couple of flat bed sheets in colors that go well with the truck. My wife hemmed them so they were 6 inches wider than the rear seat and long enough to hang down in front without resting on the floor. Lift the horizontal seat up part way and the top of the seat back comes forward enough to tuck the top of the sheet between the seat back and cab, then lower the seat and it's going nowhere. If one sheet gets dirty, throw it in the laundry and stick on the other one. Cheap, easy, and our Golden has no complaints.

I like to make the wife feel like a chauffeured, kept woman... thus she sits in the back, and rover takes shotgun! #ad

Are you with me on that? Besides where does a back seat driver sit?

Brian, I ordered the front and rear seat covers from Geno's Garage not to long ago, (front still on back-order) and the rear seat cover is made out of a canvas type material not unlike a good Carhartt coat. Installing the rear cover is not to bad, so it'd be easy to remove for washing.
Bottom line- I'm very happy with it and can't wait 'til I get the front cover.

Thanks apple guy, No wonder her hair is such a mess when we go out to dinner... . thanks for your enlightening observation!

I did get the Quad. Didn't wanna scare ya! #ad

I wanted a long term solution and went to an uphostery shop and for $200 the guy ordered auto vinyl that matches the Agate color perfectly. He used hog rings so I can take it off later on when I want to. It is tough as can be and looks like OEM. Pricey I know, but not much more than some of the better ones I saw in catalogues. Now I can put my pooches in back when it's really cold or really hot! Rest of the time they're in the back on a carpet kit in the shell... .

If you wheel and deal I bet you could find someone do do it less expensively.....

I also purchased the Geno's "Chino" cover. Very happy with the quality of it. Same purpose as you, wanted the dog to keep the hair etc off the seat.

I'm in the landscaping/gardening (field) and I purchased indoor outdoor carpet from my home Depot(inexpensive) and laid it over the seat and back. Worked for me. I can always remove it(and dirt) for passengers.

I used a cheap new horse type blanket. It's one of those "unknown fibre" ones. Has color stripes, kinda like a mexican blanket/poncho. Had a couple of holes cut for the seat belts and tuck it in behind the seat. Covers the whole seat and is easy to remove.

I have some nylon seat covers I got from the Cabela's catalog. I call them "Seat Condoms" because that's just what they are. They aren't pretty, but they protect the seats and the slip on and off easily. They were plenty cheap so I don't mind putting a wet dog on them. They go on and off real easy so I can hose them down. And they're completely waterproof. They only have a few colors available, but I'm sure you could find one that complements your interior allright. The great thing is the price - about $35 for the rear bench or $70 for the rear bench and two buckets for the front.

Here's a link but for some reason the picture's not coming up.
