I have a 91 Chevy 1500 4x4 that I use to put out hay with(has a spear on back). But over the years my rear springs have been mashed flat. Severe squattage. I was just wondering if anyone has a set laying around that you would be willing to part with.

Thanks,

Jonathan

Also, how hard would it be to upgrade to the 3/4 ton springs on this truck. Looks like longer u bolts are all that would be needed.

You can have the leafs re-arced and also get a 4x4 mag and look for advertisements for "add a leaf". It does make a difference. My old truck was a '91 Chevy 1500 4x4. A friend had a similar setup and he had his re-arced and added a leaf and he could put more in his bead and have less squate than mine. I miss my old pickup for around town stuff, but don't when it's time to pull a load. I had almost 180k miles on it when I traded it in. All trouble free.
