I have a 94 with the auto. I have been giving some consideration to stripping it down and rebuilding it. It maybe kind of pricy, however I should end up with a real decent truck.

My question is, is there any place where I can do "one stop shopping" that would carry all the parts that I would need. Such as anything from wiring harnesses to rocker panels and cummins parts to drive train parts?

Thanks John

Hi John

I have a 95 with 179,000 miles on it. How many miles on the 94 you are thinking about renewing? If the eng and everything else mechancal are ok. and the trk just needs cosmetics (paint& minor body work) go for it. The engine will run for ever if it has been properly maintained.

Good luck on what you decide. Let us know what you do.

Dave Gardner.

My 94 has 230,000 miles on it. it still runs good however I've had some problems with the transmission. I spent a lot of money to have it "upgraded" by a co. in New Hampshire. well I smoked it and had to have it rebuilt again. Even now it's still not right. But anyway it's getting tired and the rust is starting take over. I haven't had the nerve to sell it even though i have had several offers. I really love it. I do have to say its like night and day between my 05 and the 94. I live right down the road from CPFF. I'm going to run it by him and see if its worth it. Anyway if anyone knows about the parts that would be helpful.

Thanks John

There is a pretty knowlegeable fellow that checks in here quite often. Name is Joe. G

He has overhauled and upgraded his 47RH.

If you can catch up with him he can help you a lot.
