with little air coming from the dash vents I asked you what to do. heater treater was the answer. Made the call and was told to remove the blower. There was the door laying on top of the fan. I was able to install the new door without removing the dash or cutting anything. I'll just say it wasn't easy!

recirc door is a 2 beer job!. About the time I get everything in the passenger floor that I need, the first beer is empty... ALL work MUST cease until that condition is corrected!!

Add a few more beers to that if you have the Infinity stereo- it places an amplifier in the path of one of the actuator screws. I did my recirc. door several years ago, but lately, the mode 1 door was becoming intermittent. I had the local dealer (Shively Motors in Chambersburg) replace the other three with HT parts, they had no issue with that at all. The three doors from HT were $209, where the new parts from Ram would have been $237. The tech who did the work had "done at least 100" of these repairs and I couldn't even tell my truck was touched when it was done. I can't complain about the $445 labor charge either.
