ZB--don't they still offer the extra $2000 trade in if done before Jan. 4? I'd go that route if you're planning on getting another Ram/Cummins. Might mean trying to find one in stock somewhere vs. ordering though. It worked out well for me.
They do. I always order, and they offered me 38 + 2 40 total. Actually it came to 39780. So way less. It is getting depressing. I also don't think I could find a truck exactly how I want it.

I have not. I have calmed down now. A new wrinkle has come up. I am looking hard at a C@C 5500 for a rollback wrecker truck. I need one for my business. Of course I still need a 3500 for both RV's also. Prob order both. I have been spending all my spare time looking at roll back body builders. I know what I want in the 5500 already.

Well tomorrow is the big day. i know some of you are a few weeks behind me in the sell back process. I will let you know here or in a pm how it goes. I will be putting in an order for a 16. Not sure if I will do that tomorrow or in a week or so. Contact on the phone was very nice about things. Bring title, all tires must match and have decent tread etc. I pass all those requirements. Will let you know what happens. PS I pulled my B&W turn over hitch off and my wireless airbag controller off. They are for sale. Both were used once.
Also pulled out my good mats inside, took off ARE cap(for sale) I left the airbags on. I still need to pull overload pucks. I should pull my oil drain valve but that will make a mess.
I am even pulling my chrome mud flaps.

What did they say about the big ol' hole in the bed now that the hitch is out.....?

For some brands/models of hitch, the straps that wrap around the frame rails are not supposed to be reused because they have stretched/formed to the frame rails of the previous truck.

OK, didn't go down like I wanted................The older couple that showed up to handle this were VERY nice. They are independent contractors working for impartial services. He inspected the truck, she took care of paperwork. He said my truck was the nicest they have seen yet. He did not care about hitch hole. They put a notice on the windshield that says truck will be auctioned by FCA. Paper work did not go as well..........

I still owed some money on the truck. $5300. I told FCA that way back in Sep when this started. Of course I made 2 payments of $925 each in the last 2 months. When the nice lady called me to set up the appointment she told me to bring the title. I explained I didn't have it. She said her paperwork says I do. So I went and paid truck off and got title. When it was all said and done the check they had for me was about 6k short. They had a guy on the phone who said the money will be sent to the credit union in a few days. No paper work to back this up. I declined to give them the truck or the title. In the end she admitted she should have caught that paper work error. SSSSOOOOOOOOO....I have to wait 3 more weeks for them to cut a new check for 45K and then I will meet them again. The dealer ship is great. They let me leave the truck there, I took my plate also. I left my ins on it though. I also priced out a new one...

Were still working on price....MSRP 78130...they want me to pay invoice of 71279 minus retail rebates and business link rebates. ( $4500) I'm trying to get employee price of 67915 minus all rebates, or give me hold back money of 2308. Always a lot of fun, So still working on it, but I think I'm closer.

Also saw in the paper work your milage only has to be within 5k of what you reported to FCA. So I could have driven the truck a lot more. I only had driven 238 miles after reporting to FCA. Learned a lot and met some nice people. Maybe get a check for Christmas.

I think someone is blowing smoke! My 15 LongHorn Aisin Dually Fully loaded had a MSRP price of 73,155 and the invoice was 66,343. Much bigger difference and no way the truck has gone up 5K in one year. I paid around 61K with incentives and family and friends discount.

Probably not 5K in a year but.......My 2016 Laramie was almost 4K more than my 2014, both equipped the same.

Really, it's a Larimie Limited with every option. Whats the big deal? A couple guys have asked me about pricing and ordering a new one. Goodness.

Also check your math, your diff between invoice and msrp is 6812 this one is 6851. Again, I don't care. Most of the questions I'm getting are about the buy back. No harm, no foul.

Sorry I ASSUMED you were pricing what you already have a LongHorn. I agree I did bad math!

Do they (in my opinion) have that gawd awful grill and rear bumper on the 16 Limited?

I was going to order another Longhorn because I love it. But after I saw a Limited that was it. I love the front and rear bumpers the same color as the body. I also love the look of the grill in person, pics don't do it justice. After getting in the truck and seeing the interior that was it. Even nicer than my longhorn. I ordered it all Black yesterday.

That's good to know about the grill and rear bumper. Did you order the rear air ride? If not I would highly advise you do, well worth the money.

Make sure your dealer did not add the sales code "AST" as it will come in with chrome front & rear bumpers.

Funny you mention that. When we were done he printed it and I looked at it. I said what is this about chrome, sure enough, it was on there. It's gone now. thanks

Now the long wait. Hopefully I get a check before Christmas.
