Recall U11 No Parts Yet

That's something that most of us on here enjoy, take a thread off in several directions...it gets pretty interesting at times. No Mod will come down on you for drifting off topic either unlike some other forums....

I got a warning on another forum a couple weeks back for posting too many pictures (like 7...) explaining a hard to access Cadillac O2 Sensor change in a thread and using precious server resources....I'm like "WTH"???

Mike, it would seem No good deed goes unpunished... At time's debates get heated I so no reason if its done to aid others... I remember When I was in High School I fought a lot, Brawling, and I remember every Punch in the face I took , It hurt, Maybe that wasn't such a big deal, Became good friends in almost all cases sfter that.

Dealers are not be shipped any parts initially because very few vehicles are expected to need parts replacement.
All trucks need to be inspected and flashed,you should also be given an addendum to be placed in your vehicle to explain the change in operation due to the updated software.
The dealers should be doing this recall now

Thanks for the info. I've got a free oil change coming up soon so I'll see if or what they plan on doing. If it is only a flash it should be a fast in and out.

Hippy43, Its that's bad..No Joke... I like to extend kindness whenever possible..

When on the job All should forgo the pleasantries, and be united in getting the task done ASAP. Look how facebook (I call Falsebook) harvest info in the name of bringing people together Heehee Hmmm Right..

For an old long hair, I get along very well with the "customer" side of my job. Many will only let me work on their systems. Just a part of being brought up right, being polite and knowing boundaries. (LOL) As for Facebook, about all I use it for is keeping in touch with my extended family that is scattered across the country and a few across the pond otherwise some if it is really good for a laugh.
