Do like Japan and flush it out to sea? Or store thousands of tons of tainted material in bags? Or like Russia and make the area around the plant off limits? Or transferring their stores of waste in the arctic to another location?
There’s 250,000 tons of nuclear waste in storage around the world with no way to make it safe. When you figure out what to do with that you can write your own check.
