I have a 90 that needs TLC would like to install a remote Fuel filter, any recommendations and perhaps a picture, if that is not asking to much.

I have no pictures, but I reccomend a 30 micron Racor or similar water separator with a clear bowl and a heater. I see you're in Montana, so I would definetly wire that heater up with a thermistor controlled relay. I would place it on the frame before the lift pump.

This Racor unit is used is lots of equipment I work on. There are many versions, I believe how it's shown is without a heater, but there heated bowl and heated head options. The rubber on top is a hand primer pump.

I haven't done a retrofit in a long while, whereas a "thermistor" basically a thermostat device to control the heating element had to be wired in as a control, but it seems that this model is self controlling. So basically it just needs switched 12VDC. I would wire it through a relay protected by a fuse.

DVolk, I hope that answers your question, if not, PM me and I'll help draw a schematic for you. What's the conversion you're doing?
