Cummins Coolant filter kit for Dodge?

Installed a C44045 PacBrake

If you decide to use loctite, make sure it's the high temp/ user removable type and not the permanent high strength one. It will never come apart if use the latter. Allrightloctite.com has plenty of info on the various products. Good luck! How was Imler to work with by the way? I live here in Carmichael and was thinking about having him to some mods.

I put the amsoil dual remote kit on mine in 99. It has a bypass filter and you can choose from several sizes of full flow filters for the other. My system holds 3 gallons.

forgot why I posted in the first place. You might be able to go to a hydaulic hose shop and buy an elbow with swivels on both the male and female threads.

they should have used ORB fittings into the aluminum block instead of NPT fittings... they would let you adjust it to any angle, then just tighten the jam nut against the washer, which will press the o-ring onto the block sealing it nicely...

Yeah, I went with the Amsoil kit, and it's awesome. It has much better looking hardward to ensure that no leaks occur. This way, rather than just mounting a stock filter out of the way, you're helping to prevent additional wear by filtering out all the crap from the system. Go with the Amsoil system!

LOC TITE!!!!!

Seal the hell out of it with loctite... . I know it's kinda eeewww sounding but I bet money that it would have worked.

The one key to loctite is having a metal to metal seal... . No engine oil or anything else between the surfaces you need to seal.

If you are going to use loctite in this type of application make sure it is #545. That is the type that is made for hydraulic/pneumatic systems.

Hello

As a Heavy Equipment Manager. I was in the market for a remote oil filtration system for my equipment.

I found a system, Premo Oil Refiners. This filter system is unique, in that, it burns off and filters all impurities, and delivers this processed oil back to the crankcase with all impurities removed. I have been using this system on my 1996, 2500 Dodge, Cummins for six years. After 6,000 miles you can still see the full line on the dip-stick. Easy to install, and it works.

The company is @ Diesel Power Products. www.dieselpowerproducts.com.

Good Luck

JL
