I didn't buy locally either, but I do take my truck to the local dealer, and afterwards, I get a email from Chrysler asking me to complete a survey on the service I received at that dealership.
My point is make sure all your information is up to date with Chrysler to include email, then you will get that survey, then you can let them now, in that survey how that dealership treated you.
The dealership is representing the dodge name, they do have a obligation to make you happy.

HAHA
let me tell you this about them survey's
first I DO get them, and have for yrs now

second
I had a dealer work on truck and caused me issue';s
filled out survey accordingly and then next visit to that dealer(was local and needed a visit FAST)
they complained to me about giving them a bad review on the survey, so got more than normal gripe out of them
and they installed wrong U joints and bent a drive shaft on me doing so??
then claimed wasn't there fault!!
they then got another BAD survey
and I never went back there again
as I don't need to worry if or what they will screw up on SPITE, for getting another BAD review/survey!

SO< just cause you fill out a survey, doesn't mean its going to HELP you down the line
could actually hurt you

I also, have had dealers complain to me that I used a different dealer OTHER than them, as when they pull up your vehicle, it shows where things got down??

I personally think they should just be happy getting the work, and over look when and where I get things done
I travel a bunch and have homes in different places, so at different times of yr I am in different area's and use dealers based on WHERE I am at
again, I have had dealer here complain I didn;'t come to them for this or that, and didn;t care if I explained I was OUT of area, and the service would even show it was a 150 plus miles away
so??
and they still give me grief and get pissy here!

so, survey's
UP I get em,m and I do fill em out
NOT sure there helping any sadly LOL

been this way for about 15+ yrs here and a few trucks I have gone thru over the yrs

I think the days of where a CUSTOMER is important for repeat business has passed
they all seem to look at you here like your replaceable and don't care if you go some where else(yet will complain if you do)
but don't appreciate your business when you give it to them!

Well I can understand what you have gone through, I know my experience has been all positive, and they know me by first name, and treat me very well so far, so for me the surveys has worked very well. I will continue to use them and the dealer I'm using, I don't use BIG dealerships. They are the ones I will not buy from or even go into and talk to about anything, they have a ****ty attitude, and don't care about you, because they have 30 other customers on the lot at the same time, so they can move on to the next one.
I use the very small town dealers, they have small overhead, usually locally family owned, and they rely on word of mouth to keep those doors open, they will jump through hoops to keep a customer happy, unlike BIG dealers who are big corp. owned, you never know who owns it, and they don't care, they are never there if you want to talk to them, and if you do they have a ****ty attitude.
just my personal experiences, and what I have done to satisfy my problem with it.

my two smaller dealers near me, one is OK with service other sucks, and BOTH are terrible to try to buy from
one took over 2 months to get me a price on a new truck, telling me they didn;t know how to look up a price on there computer! then forgot about me, never getting back to me for 7 weeks

other gave me a HIGH price and wouldn';t budge, hinting I should maybe just go else where if I didn't like the price! which I did LOL
neither one had any 2500's on there lot when I was there, and it seemed like having to find or order one was WORK, and didn't want it!
Pushing either a half tom they HAD< or a CHevy (duel dealership the one is)2500 as they DID have one of them on there lot, wrong color brand options LOL

so small time dealers here sadly are NO better than larger one's
will admit the largest one I went to was the far from good too!
and I always go into dealerships trying to be nice and be honest and upfront, basically , straight up tell them, I plan to buy a truck SOON and who ever offers me the best deal, gets my money, real simple, I have options I WANT and won't change, and will be shopping for the best deal on the exact same truck

so I don't hold anything back, and be nice about it, giving them the chance to sell me a truck
and to date the past 8-9 trucks I bought new in this area, only TWO came from local dealerships, based on price, as most are always several grand MORE than same truck else where
I don't mind paying a few hundred more to buy local, but a few grand??
sorry, they loose my sale at that kind of difference in prices

this seems to upset them here >>
but hey, money is money in my book
they should be happy they get the repair work IMO
there small time places and seldom very busy, so, income is income one would think??
but NOPE?

Your dealer can read the last few remote start inhibits. As long as you don't wait too long to have them read it they can tell you why it didn't start. Also did you get one or two horn honks when it didn't start?

I had waited more than 20 minutes and it never fired up after the 2 beeps
and then again had the error on dash that said REMOTE STARTER DISABLED

so, it didn't work

and wasn't due to NOT warming up or??
was a actual error of some sorts
