Can a 180 pump be replaced with a 215? The reason I asked is that someone told me there was a difference in the engine setup also?

No it interchanges. Joe Donnley and Jeff argo did mine about two months ago. Mine was 160. Best mod ive done so far. Jeff and Joe are very knowlegible. Did hell of a job.

Found out yesterday that I am using (soon to be owning) an extremely rare truck. My father is selling me his 96 5speed 2wd Club cab. Other than gauges and the stock cam plate being slid forward, it is bone stock and original. Heck, even the clutch is almost 13 years old.

This truck has the 215 horse motor in it. Not really all that rare to most of you. But it is a California truck. CPT#2023 engine. Everything I have found online lists this a Non-California engine. This truck is not supposed to exist. It was however built in 10/95.

I have purchased new shocks, torque plate, and will be moving the pyro to a better location.

I am also sure that I will be soon buying a clutch.

Glad to be getting back to a 12 valve.
