Well I knew this was going to come up sooner or later. I have a PE and an EZ and am wondering if any one has made the jump to the comp and what they thought??

Is there more HP?

Is it worth the $$

I am fairly sure I can sell my EZ with out leaving the drive way, but how about a PE... is there a market for used PE's out there.

One last question, does the Comp use the same connection on the fuel pump wire or did the guys at Edge figure out a way to fool the computer??

Thanks in advance.

Rob - they said they would swap out the EZ for 50 and give me a new one that would fit my Dad's 98. I did not ask about the PE.

There is at least on guy on here that has swapped these two for the comp box, I just know it. Come on step up and convience me.

JR2,

I just replaced my Hot PE and 275s with the PE Comp and DD2s. The connection to the pump is exactly the same as the PE. I didn't have an EZ. Truck feels much stronger on any setting above Level 2.

JR2,

The Comp product is the combination of the EZ and PE into one unit (excelent choice for a newby). The connectors are the same as the PE with the addition of the data link for the EZ function. It does not contain new magic to extract more horsepower:( The horsepower is very similiar to the setup you currently have on your truck. However, the programming is deffinately better on the comp, very cool IMO:)

The best move you could make is to get some good injectors in that motor.

Sell your EZ without leaving the driveway? I doubt it. I've had mine posted for sale in the classifieds for weeks now and no takers.

'course mine is the DD version of the EZ, maybe that's scaring people off, I dunno. DD isn't offering any kind of trade-up plan either.

I wanted to sell mine to get a comp. But now the comp is the hot new thing, so EZs are no longer in demand.

Figures.

RObG -

The EZ would be sold to my Dad who's truck parks right next to mine most days. He has already expressed an interest in it several times. I think he is going to end up with my 275 injectors instead because I think I will just keep my PE/EZ combo and use the $$ for bigger injectors... .
