I talked to the local chrysler dealership about a steering shaft for my 94 ram. The only one listed for 94 was over 400 dollars. I knew there was an updated shaft, and asked him about it. He found it, but it was only listed for 95 and up i believe. This 'updated' shaft, was only 195 dollars. Do you think this will work on a 94? From what i have read, they both use the same steering box and the same column. Here is the part # for the newer shaft: 5535113AE $195

Thanks for any imput
