Any tips/tricks for replacing?

Yeh, I do. For what it's worth. I picked one up from NAPA. It didn't fit. It looked the same as old one, but it must have had something different about it. Cummins was the answer. Get my Cummins parts from the local OTR truck dealership.

I got a water pump and a fan clutch at the local Car Quest

dealer. So far both seem to be working ok.

Water pump was $65 plus change and tax.
