OK the new fuel line is on, fittings are tight and no leaks anywhere. I bet the old ones were leaking quite a bit of fuel, as I notice a distinct absence of diesel fuel smell. At $ 3 per gal, kinda hard to afford that.....



Once I figure exactly where the fuel & return lines enter / exit behind the injection pump, I may just replumb back to the

tank or at least to the juncture where the steel lines leave the frame rail on the driver's side.

I replumbed my fuel lines with aeroquip 3/8 line. For the return I rerouted the return line over the front of the lift pump inline with the gear case, and flared it to -6AN. It is a metric line and a little smaller than 3/8" but worked. For the tank end, I got some alumnium bungs made up for it that was in 1/4 pipe threads and ran it in there.
