The Husky torque wrenches available at Home Depot have a lifetime warranty. If they were cheap crap I doubt that would be the case. Are they as accurate as a $1000 SnapOn? No but for someone like me that use it maybe a half dozen times a year it works for me.

If you use it way more then I would be doing and you wear it out? For one...in a world where people buy Harbour Frieght products with little concern for quality, why is this such a thing for you?

Geno's has that gasket also, that's where mine came from. If there was an issue I would think they would know about.

100 in lbs is oft referred to as hand tight; about roughly 8-1/2 ft lbs. 20 ft lbs is nothing, really.

I’ve been wrenching professionally for 24 years and have never put a torque wrench on a trans pan bolt. Don’t overthink it just tighten it and it won’t leak.

That tork wrench is fine. I have 3 Snap On tork wrenches (2) 1/2" and (1) 1/4" (still need a 3/8"). I either traded or purchased them used. They have never been calibrated. I doubt they are any more accurate than a new Husky. I doubt anyone here has sent theirs back to be periodically calibrated either. Maybe when Robert Yates gives me a call to work on his pit crew, I'll get it done.
