How about installing better shocks such as bilsteins , or Ranchos

then try running no bigger ply tire than a 8 ply , if your not hauling anything put a 6 ply on

It's a TRUCK! But you could install air springs on the rear, remove about half of the leaves and expect a noticeably better ride. I'm currently in the middle of doing the same thing to a couple of our Caravans for better ride. I've got Airlifts on the CTD, but haven't bothered to remove any leaves yet as I only use it when carrying a load or towing something heavy.

yep, i realized it was a truck the first time i drove it. i don't tow antthing heavier than a 4000lb boat but use it mostly empty. so i think i might try removing a couple of leafs per side to soften the rear a little.

you may try removing leaves off the front only... . i have a d250 and d350 diesel and they ride soooo much smoother than my 4x4... I think most of the poor ride feel comes from the front end of our trucks.

has anyone tried removing a few of the rear leafs and how did it workout for ya?#@$%!Oo.

First off, what tire pressure are you running, front and rear? You don't need anything like 80# rear when you're not loaded.

Too many folks confuse ratings at pressure with recommended pressure always.

Good question. I am also interested in making mine ride a little smoother. Its ok when I've got 10K on the bumper, but with DD duties it gets old. I almost want to mount a camera on my rearview mirror and point it chest high at the passenger seat. lol

I had a good friend with a 4x4 Dodge dually diesel I loved to look at, but for years I avoided them because of how they rode! That darned thing was simply unacceptable for a passenger. Only later did I find out that the 4x4 was the reason for the terrible ride in his(empty of course, and the tire pressure may have been tops too). My 4x2 with MorRyde rides like a Cadillac (well, almost), anyhow I love how it rides.
