Right side running lights not working

After my little fender bender i have been informed that my right side running lights were not working. so I check the bulbs and the right rear one had a broke filament. Well, the odd part here is my "lamp out" light wasn't showing on the gauge cluster.



With the light bulb out of the holder, but everything plugged in, I still had no light out on the dash with the running lights on. After replacing the bulb it still didn't work. I verified with the drivers side what wires are for what with a test light and went right to the harness and there is no current coming outa the appropriate wire (the one next to the black).



Also, my lic. plate lights are not working either.



After inspection of the front running light, the bulb was fine.



Even odder here, these bulbs double up as turn light singles and work just fine as turn singles.



ideas? I heard it is caused by a harness that's to short? where should I start looking?

If you have the 7pin trailer Plugin check to see if all the service and running lights are working, if all fine check fuses,BCM,PDC. its odd the lamp out was not ON.

So there are 2 fuses for the running lights? left and right side? I'll run a tester on the pig tail. I don't have a trailer to plug it into tho

The 7 pin plug fail to light up the running lights. So it is broke at the trailer plug as well. What does this tell ya?

Check connections, if good check power at PDC. its a pita to remove. if no power at the PDC , its a New PDC. or BCM, I am almost positive it the The PDC B/C you lamp out light was not On.

PDC? BCM? The lamp out works if I pull the plug or bulb from the left tail light.



where would these boxes be?

the PDC is the Main fuse and relay center, located next to the Driver side Battery, The Body Control Module is attach to the PDC on right side. , be careful when removing the harnesses if you break one its gonna be $$$$$$.

The DR trucks do not have a bcm they use the instrument cluster for the bcm functions. Perhaps you are thinking about the FCM or front control module

Have you tested fuse 32?

Well, I'm retarded. Fuse 32 is blown. Funny how the fuse cover says "RH Tail lights". . I'm assuming this includes the RH front running light.



I'll pick up a mini fuse tomorrow.

You may need to find what caused the fuse to Blow.

Well. I run with my running lights on and It was noticed the lights out shortly after a grandma re-deigned my bed side. The bulb filament was broken the rear,I suspect the jolt and what not didn't help. If the fuse goes again, then we'll have to look at wires and control things and whatnot.

well had two bulbs out and one broke fuse. All better now
