Call Me Denny... . Yup, Saw the heat races too. We were sitting up in the south bleachers next to Last Year's Winner's cheering section! Son's team finished 4th in their heat so their day was short too!I thought the racing on the track was awesome! Only ONE incident all day when the one guy rolled. Otherwise Everyone did a good job of avoiding spun cars!
I'm just sitting back here readin & learnin'. I looked at Dodges 5 yrs ago when I got my current truck. It's got 150K on it and I'm tryin to decide if I should trade it or run it into the ground. Been real trouble-free so far. Orig. glow plugs, batteries, etc. just a waterpump, a CPS, 2 GPR's and a set of tires. Anyhow - Good luck on Your Finals! DENNY... ... ... ...

Sounds like my little trip to the dyno in January. Hell, I suprised myself when I pulled 283hp at the rear wheels with only the stock plate slid forward. You gotta love the ol 12 valver.

Here we go again...
I was at US 41 drag strip in Morocco, IN.
My best run was:
rt 1. 167
60' 2. 261
330' 6. 518
1/8 10. 002 @ 69. 75mph
1000' 13. 058
1/4 15. 641 @87. 34

This is with the same mods as before.

Adam, ran a 15. 081 was my best. I am having problems "hooking" up. I don't think I get traction until a few R's in third. I did find out that going into fifth gear helped the top end speed, 91 mph! I also need to make some adjustments to the front drive shaft so I can launch in 4wd. The truck definately is not set up for dragging, but it was a blast. I need to get some cheapy tires so I can play.
