Kurt no problem, I will be honest and say I don't know much about lights, I just put the Piaa's in a few months ago. They apear to be a quality product, and I have heard of them all over the place, but this is my first set, and I can't really comment on them as I have had them for such a short period.

Can I ask a question of Roadarmor here? I've seen that there is a seperate front bumper model made for trucks with a 3" body lift, but I've got a 2" body lift. Does the regular model mount in a flexible enough way to cover a 2" gap?



Also, the bumper in the top left picture in the Dodge '94 - 02 photo section looks like a different one. The black truck that's coming over a rise shot from low angle? With no gaurd? Is it the Stealth bumper or what?

Thanks to BigBadDodge for setting this up. I just ordered front and rear for mine. I talked to Sandy and she said the guys were down at the factory so that might be why it is taking him a while to get back to some of you. I also emailed James yesterday but I called today and got my questions answered by Sandy. Very nice and easy to deal with.

KRS: I am going to take a stab at answering your questions first the bumper on the black truck in the upper left of the 94-02 section, IMO looks to be a bodylifted stealth base bumper with no guards I can't tell the size of the light cans wich will tell us if it is like mine the older version Fail Ready or the newer. I lightened it up in a photo program and it is just like the rest underneath it just much harder to see when you have the bumper in black.



As far your situation I would say you need the 3" lifted version as I have the normal version and it just covers everything if I had a two inch body lift you would see the frame and body mounting brackets.

If your talking about the 97 Its going to look the same as whats on my truck, its a 97, depending on the TI, or TII Guard which ever you chose, only difference is the trainning wheels in the back, if your talking about the rear bumper go to page 6 of this thread half way down the blue truck with the rear bumper is a 2nd gen dually.

There was some intrest earlier in 3rd gen rear bumpers, I just recieved word from Road Armor that they are doing the final test fits at the plant this week for the 3rd gen rear bumpers, and are now taking orders. Cost is the same as the 2nd gen rear.
