Peter, sorry to hear about your luck, fortunatly I believe the company has gone through some vast changes in the last couple of years. I personnaly have had no issues with them and when I talk to them on the phone they are always willing to help, no matter what it takes.

Thanks for you input.

tmckenzie: glad your install went flawless, as did mine, can't wait to see the pics. be sure to add a link here :)

When is the cut off for this group buy? I'm planning on driving up there to see what they have to offer. I haven't found their site to helpful.

If anyone has specific questions they want asked in person, send them my way.

Guava, talk to James he is the guy I have been dealing with, very nice he will be able to answer any questions anybody has, also I have been in touch with him regularly via e-mail, so if there are any questions that need to be asked after you leave there we can still get answers.

James told me he will let the GP go till the end of the month.

Thanks for helping out

:( I may not get the bumper at this time. I called Road Armor and was given the price for the basic bumper, I was surprise with the price:--), apparently, I had been looking at their old web site prices were the bumpers were less than $1000, on sale. Their new web site has the bumpers higher:mad: and with the 25% discount it basically brings it close to the sale price of under $1000. If you think about it, we are not getting a group deal, is more like their last sale deal:confused:. I had made my figures with that sale price and I just don't have the rest for the new figures:{. Here is their link to the new prices: Road Armor Prices. If I can come up with the difference I will join you guys again. I still say that these are the best looking bumpers I have seen:D, but every one has their opinion and they do come with a heavy price tag:eek:.

OMG!! I too must have been looking at something else. Base bumper with the titan gaurd is 2094? Even after discount you have shipping charges so total cost will still be close to 2k. Sorry folks. I can get an ARB for half that cost. Sorry to say but please re-tract my previous interest of 1 dodge front and 1 grand cherokee rear bumper.

Thanks,

Ken

The Road Armor bumpers do look the best and that rear with the guards is very slick. However, it seems their prices jumped a lot recently and for a front and rear with guards your looking at over $4K. I ordered a front and rear Buckstop for $1500 on the group buy. The difference was way too much for me to consider the Road Armor.

Also, can someone explain to me or better yet shoe me a picture of the difference between the "Titan" and "Titan II" guards on a gen 3 Dodge Ram? There is only one style on their website that I see and frankly, I find it a little over the top as far as styling. I like the Stealth guards on the 2nd gen Dodges better.

TBrennan, how did you manage to get the front and rear from DOR for just the $1500 I was just on the DOR group buy thread and it listed $1500 for the front alone not including any options like the crating fee as well for $100. The DOR is Aluminum to correct ? as opposed to steel ? I will be the first to admitt that the bumpers aren't cheap, no matter who you go with and we get what we pay for. I chose Road Armor over the rest because IMO for my truck the looks was well worth the additional cost. If you take the base bumper at just over $1200 and subtract the 25% you can get that bumper for under $1000. IMO that is very resonable for a bumper of this magnatude, size, and styling.

Ken, you forgot to subtract the 25% discount if we sell 10 bumpers that would bring that $2,094 bumper down to $1,570. 50 for a saving of $523. 50 tell me that isn't a great deal and less then $100. 00 more then the DOR.

TBrennan: I believe that is the Titan II on the 3rd gen below

The Titan I, I believe would be with out the bars in the center.

Like this one axcept its on the 2 gen:

I will confirm and see if they have pics of the Titan I on a 3 gen

I hear ya but with the ARB only being $1000 including delivery from Sams offroad, it's a tough call. @ 1570, we still haven't included shipping and I am sure that is going to be close to $100 minimum to truck.

BigBadDodge,

I stated I ordered Buckstops, not DORs. Different companies. I like the styling of the Buckstops about as well as the Road Armors, except the R. A. rear looks a good deal better with it's many facets. For me, I just couldn't see spending over twice as much though for a similar quality bumper. Now if it was stainless for that price I probably would go for it ...

You guy's aren't going to believe this, I went back to Road Armor with the feedback I have been reciveing here about the pricing and they have agreed to knock an additional 10% off for a total of 35% off retail. IMO this a damn great deal guys infact I am kind of upset this deal wasn't around when I bought my front.

So now you can have that bumper with the titan guard that is normally $2,094 for only $1,361. 10 Tell me that isn't a deal !!!!

So now the new rear bumper normally at $1,186 goes for $770. 90

And if really wanted, you could have front and rear for $2,132

I guess we can thank TBrennan and KBond for inspiring me to ask for the additional 10%

Here is the PRICE LIST

GREAT DEAL :D

Dang guys, Id be jumpin on this. I wish I hadnt just bought a rear drop bumper for mine or Id be all over this for the rear bumper.

Now the deal is getting better but we still have $100 for crating/packaging and about $150-200 for shipping for roughly 300 pounds (crate and bumper). I think more guys will go for it, if the numbers are work a little more. How about it, BBD?

Pablo

Just wonderin' where these bumper are being shipped from? I know the history w/ Road Armor how the company split up, so who are you guys going thru? When I bought my last Road Armor bumper for my '01 PSD it was in Everett, WA. If this is where they are still coming from I would be interested and could just make a run over there and SAVE $250-$300 for shipping.

*The bumper I bought in 2001 was returned (FULL REFUND) because the winch didn't fit, the tow hooks were too big, welds were ****ty, and the bumper did not cover everything the stock bumper did.
