I was thinking of having one of those spray-in bed liner materials applied to the lower body panel areas (where the lower paint is on the two tone paint) because of all the rock chips and dings from other car doors. I'm concerned if this will look awful or if the color will fade over time and look tachy. I have seen some spray-in liners that have a fairly fine texture and look pretty sharp in the bed. Or would I be better off to go to a body shop and have the bottom of the panels repainted with some kind of rock chip prevention coating. Any input would be appreciated

DaveB had the lower portion of his Ram Line-Xed AND painted (from the molding down). I saw it myself at the Timberline Dodge/TDR rally several weeks ago... looked pretty sharp! #ad
It seemed to be extremely durable as well (at least I hope so the way he was trying to scratch it #ad
). LOL

Had my rocker panels Line-X'd when the bedliner was sprayed. My 2001 QC is medium bronze,line-x bedliner and rocker panels are gray(turned out a dark charcoal gray)Looks better than the factory two-tones,no paint chip worries and a lifetime warranty to boot!I was initially hesitant because I had not seen one, would recommend it highly to anyone now. Good Luck!
