MNTDR Annual BWW Gathering!

Area Diesel Service Open house, dyno run June 16, DM, IA

Well guys I think it is time to start to get a gathering together for the Rocky Mountain Region. I am going to need as much feedback as possible for those who will attend. What we may do like we have done for the gassers in the past is have two seperate weekend dates set so those who can't make it one weekend, can another.

Where: KAZ MotorSports

3415 Fillmore Ridge Heights

Colorado Springs, CO. 80907

A map can be found HERE

When: Flexible if the masses say they need another date!

First Weekend March 10, 2007

Second Weekend (IF needed) March 17, 2007

How Much: $45. 00 for 3 runs

If time allows at the close of the day and folks want to play with some power adders or make setting changes they will be rerun after all participants have run for an additional $20.

What Machine: Dyno Dynamics Fully Loading Dyno

Rated to 900HP and 1650ft/lbs of torque.

What will be there for us?: We will have BBQ catered. We have used this company twice now and they have great food! Paying participants will recieve two meal tickets with your entry fee. Onlookers will need to pay at the wagon.

Depending on the projected turn-out we will have RMTDR T-shirts made with the event info on them. If you guys want to get creative and give the event a "nickname" we will have that put on the shirts also.

I am going to speak with a few of the companies I work with for performance parts to see if we can get some sponsorship involved.

I will keep all informed on that!

Any questions or concerns feel free to post here or give me a shout at the shop!

Man this sure sounds like fun. I will definitely be there, as a spectator only as I have not done anything to my truck since my last dyno run. Are the t-shirts for all RMTDR members or only the dyno guys? I'm not one to miss a good BBQ Ever! Hope this turn out to be a good time for everyone.

This will be SO much fun!

I know I'll be there and I have about 6 other guys that will be coming with me. At least 5 of them will be bringing their trucks :D

The food is real good. Not as good as my BBQ of course... but I will be a bit busy to be cooking! ;)

What we have done with shirts in the past is those who run on the dyno get first pick and then what is left over is "sold" at our cost each to have them made.

Good deal - Got it on the calendar. I'll bring my little 1st gen and get a good baseline before I go and bomb the hell out of the thing... :-laf

So Kenny, is it for the 10th, 17th, or both Saturdays? If not both I understand but am itching to hang out with some truck guys again, I haven't been to any events in quite a while.

If we need to we can do two seperate weekends. I know how schedules can be conflicting for some folks and weekend work. Hopefully we can set the first date in stone soon... and then let the masses vote for an alternate date the following weekend or further off if needed. We did one group of gassers who were 42 strong on the dyno and they did one weekend for 26 and the rest three weekends later. It just played hell on their club president getting all of the numbers in for their trophies and the BBQ was only for the first weekend. :)

I'm not a big fan of barbeque anyway... :) Your plan sounds good, I appreciate the offer and if the second time works out then it should be a good time for sure! Please update when/as people respond!

Nick

TPC, depending on which day you go, or I go, I will join up with you in Parker (south Denver) and head on down. I know the area the dyno is in also.

Nick

Plan on joining up with a few around the Loveland/Ft Collins area!

It'd be pretty sweet to roll into the springs with about 10-15 trucks!

Well guys I spoke with Snow Perfomance today. There will be a Snow Performance Methanol Injection unit up for a prize for one of the winning participants. We will determine what contest level gets that before the dyno day. Any suggestions or input on "who" should get it is greatly appreciated. Snow Performance will also be here with their Diesel Power Magazine Featured 3500 24V truck and some of their other products on display.

Other "prizes" will be announced as the aftermarket folks we deal with get back with me. :D

Kenny, you rock!

Seriously dude..... way to get it done!

I really really hope that we get a good turnout for this. I'll be sending out a email to everyone one the RMTDR site jsut to ake sure that they know about it.

And I think we should shoot for the 10th as the main event and then maybe do the 17th also if we need to.

Thanks Jeremy... I do what I can!

The 10th is set in stone then! :D

The 17th will be an alternate weekend for those who can not make the main event. Also if the 10th is a weather day it will just be pushed to the 17th.
