Having checked with the local tracks here is what I have found. Numidia,Cecil County and Mason-Dixon all have regular bracket shows. All are 1/4 mile and about equal distance from Ernie's,Numidia being southeast of Bloomsburg,Cecil County northeast of Baltimore off I-95 and Mason-Dixon being east of Hagerstown on old US40. All can be made in about 1-1 1/2 hours depending on traffic and how well you can navigate shortcuts. There is one track about 30 minutes from Ernies,South Mountain,but its a 1/8 and I got no answer or return call from Wally yet. I wil post a follow up on it as soon as he calls. Remember,Maple Grove is the best choice,BUT,with the Lucas Oil nationals rescheduled its out of the question. Beaver Springs has their annual Junior dragster Nationals that weekend so they are out also.

Doug, Have any hotels with vacancies in the area been located? Thanks Steve

With most of the overflow from Hershey and Maple Grove now trickling into my area bigtime those interested may want to check some of the Gettysburg,PA area motels. Its about a 20 minute ride from there to Kauffman's and most all the big chains have motels there. Due to work I will not be able to make a run there to check till Saturday,but,I will then and post my findings.

Now Scott,I would have figured that after missing the August show,eating all the brownies by yourself gaining 25lbs and trying to wring the neck of the Dodge Dealer you would be the first guy to say..... "I AM IN FOR BOTH DAYS"..... Whats up with that????. BTW,just so you can make it I have lined up a tow vehicle form your area to get here if needed. Ok,so you will have to be towed to Kauffmans with a Ford,but at least we will get to have the brownies then. . LOL. :-laf :-laf :-laf

I know,Saturday will be the whip the truck day and Sunday will be "help Ernie knock the old barn down with the helicopter" day because you and Tom don't want to drive back. BTW,I hope he is bringing my Big Blue truck as he still hasn't let me drive it yet,LOL.

Actually, I froze them, and am working on finishing up the last of them this week.
