O. K... . did anyone else catch the phrase in one of the above posts??!!??!!
If not . . Here it is. . ;
The other problem according to them is that if you start using synthetic you can NEVER stop using synthetic. They were emphatic about that.
WOAH NELLY!!!!>>>>!!!!
Say again... All After Problem. . !!
This Rang my bell!!!
I wonder what the thinking was here... ?
PLEASE POST MORE INFO!!!!
I have intended to switch to synthetics for the winter. . then back to "Pensoil Long Life HD Diesel 15w40" for the summer months
My current choice for the synthetic is Mobil Delo 1 5W-40
I have always understood that the new synthetics are neutral... and will not react to natural oil.
My understanding of compatability problems goes WAY BACK to 2 cycle engines.
If you had "Golden Spectro" or another natural oil mixed into the fuel ... then tried to switch to say "Purple Power Lube" , or some other synthetic. . they would "Gel" the fuel and make a hell of a mess. !
I don't think the newer products do this... but I need advice!
Anyone else get a "Pi$$ Shiver" when they read the statement about never being ABLE to go back?? or is it just me??
Larry
