Help!! What is the trick to remove rotors on my '95 Dodge 3/4 ton 4x4 Dana 60 axle?
After struggling to get the axle nuts off the half shafts (threads are ok), and removing the 4 bolts from behind, I was told to install 2 bolts back partway in hub and use an air hammer to loosen hub. No luck, it just destroyed the bolts. Does anyone know the trick??? Nobody in my town will touch this type of truck for a front brake job because of past experiences. Two Chrysler dealers just tell me good luck! Most of their customers leave with a hefty repair bill for new half shafts, joints and bearings, etc. I would appreciate all replies.
Thank you,
Dennis Koenig
