Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Rough idle sometimes . . .

So after my hard start fiasco I started to drive the truck to make sure everything was good. About 50 miles later it throws a CEL P1693. So I kept an eye on it and when you start up the truck, idles normally for 10 seconds and then will start missing a little, throw the CEL and then start idling normally. Only does this at idle and it is growing worse. Also dies when going into gear.



The injector pump has 30k on it if that and RASP was installed at the same time. Could I have a sensor bad or something?



As a side note I have not installed the clips that hold all the injectors in place, will put those in in the morning.

So I had a thought, could I have a crack in a line before the fuel pump and it is sucking air??



They will pull the codes on a reader and see if any others come up but any more ideas?

i replaced both of the short rubber lines the one from the lift pump to the fuel filter and the one between the injection pump and the fuel filter this helped but hasnt cured my hard start i have also replaced all the sealing washers on the banjo bolt on the lift pump the injection pump and where the line goes to the fuel filter still hard to start i had a code p0230 one time cleared and it hasnt came back
