Gentlemem,
This is my first thread so if I am doing something wrong just let me know. My buddy has a 95 1 ton 5speed 4x4, he was loaded down with a load of hay (30ft gooseneck dual tandem w/15 1600# round bales) while driving the truck just took off , wide open throttle, he thought the throttle was stuck so he started pumping the throttle trying to get it unstuck, but the throttle pedal was free and not stuck to the floor. tried to turn it off with the key and it wouldn't die. His last alternative was to push in the clutch and let it blow, because he was running out of road. The funny thing is when he pushed in the clutch it hit the govenor roaring black smoke it ibled back dowm running like crap then it died. After hitting the key a few times it will finally start back up but at wide open throttle again. So we let the truck cool of and started it up and it hasn't done it since being 3 days now.
Just wondering if anyone has ever run across something like this?
