How to sell an RV?

LandShark, Am I reading your signature correctly? You have a 2500 Dodge, I assume a long bed with a 12' truck camper. The longest Elkhorn truck camper made by Fleetwood was 11'7" according to my RV Consumer Group and they recommend a Class 4 truck, which is a 4500. The RVCG says that with average options, fresh water and propane the camper, will have a curb weight of 3444 pounds. That's not even adding food, and the rest of the gear one needs for a camping trip. What did you have to do to handle the extra weight and how stable is the truck?

265 tires are too wide. They will rub the dump sub frame. The dot might cut me a little slack on gross or axle wt. but not with light tires. They have been pushing tire cap. lately.

The BFG Commercial TA LT tires are usually recommended as second best to the Michelins and of course cost less. That's what I upgraded to as I don't tow the RV very far or very much in any year.

I just stopped at Les Schwab to investigate 16" replacement tires and wheels for our TT.

They quoted me the LT225/75R-16 Wildcat. I've used these on a previous truck and had good luck.

Has anyone used these on their TT? If so, how did they wear?

Thanks
