Thanks FTWardoch. Appears those mach 1's are 65HP as opposed to the RV275 at around 40HP. So seems I shouldn't have any issue.
In regard to the Trans Controllers so far from what I've read is their usage in conjunction with an exhaust brakes, don't know if i can use one without the brake, or if it would even make much of a difference being in 3rd gear lockup going down a hill.

You can play around with the cruise control, setting it just before you crest a hill, and it will keep the TC locked going down the other side. You will find that the Cummins does not provide much hold back on it's own. SNOKING
