Trying to extrapolate (whew, big word) how many miles I'll get is kinda tough. I am running 245/70/19. 5 Mich XDE MS tires, on Rickson 6. 75 rims. They should go about 80K, which for me is pretty good. I only got 35K out of my factory generals. I ran the truck across a scale and I think it gained about 350lbs by adding the Rickson's and the 16ply tires. I didn't realize until I had them on that the tires were 16ply. I just assumed since they came 12 or 16 that I'd be getting the 12's, oops.
Ride is incredibly rough, most likely due to the ridiculous weight of the tires. Would different shocks help me? I'll never go to this exact tire again for two reasons. The ride, and they HOWL like crazy. The tread isn't as aggressive as the sound makes one think. They are AWESOME in snow/ice and nuttin' special in mud.
Mileage, not much of a factor. I went from 61mph at 2000rpm to 66mph, but if anything the mileage dropped slightly, once again possibly from the weight.
Cost for set of 6 Rickson's and 6 Mich's (purchased locally) was right around $3500. Sounds higher that it really was 'cause I needed to spend $1000 on tires the way it was. And I've got a set of rims to sell if I ever get off my ***** and advertise them.
Rims/Tires look great. I've just got basic black with no trim rings or sims. Make a p/u look like a truck. I'll try to put some pics in my gallery if I haven't already.
