Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) ?'s on head work

I know this has been ask before but don't have time to set here and search around all night.

Who does the best head work?

I took it off this morn. pistons and valves look good even at 100k miles still has cross-hatching showing on cyl. walls. Head gasket not good!

Also with my truck description below and possible twins in future what would be the best route to take.

Right now just thinking studs and marine gasket.

Any input on o-ringing or fire-ringing would be helpful.
