Yeah I know it's short notice but I was wondering if anyone is going to the "test and tune" at the Sacramento Raceway this Saturday the 17th?



I will be down there with a bunch of gasser guys, it would be great if a few of you oilburners were there too! Oo.

SACRAMENTO RACEWAY





take US50 east out of Sacramento towards South Lake Tahoe to Bradshaw Rd.



Go south on Bradshaw Rd to Jackson Hwy (CA SR 16)



Go east (turn left) on Jackson Hwy to Excelsior Rd.



Turn left on Excelsior, the track will be on your right approx 1/2 mile from the intersection.

I was there with the guys testing the pro mod vette. Did you see my truck, silver First gen with 6" lift and Dual 5" stacks.

Dusty didn't do too well, it was very busy down there (lot's of NHRA people this time) and he only had time for three runs. I'm pretty sure that his best time was a 13. 3xx, not what we were expecting, he was hoping to get in the high tens! BTW his best run there is 11. 41.



Oh well that's racing for ya, still had fun though!



BTW all the racers I spoke with were running slow, it was 72° and it felt very humid.

I'm in the process of organizing at GTG at Sac Raceway on Wednesday 2/28. Myself and a few of my fellow Wyotech(West Sac campus) students will be there for the Wednesday Night Drags and I'm trying to get some diesels to show up so the students can see what diesel power is all about if you catch my drift. Let me know if anyone here on TDR will be able to make it.

I am there just about every wednesday. Bring your truck out this wednesday, its not like its too far or anything:-laf

Wednesday nights are fun. Lots of people, but fun. Usually can get 4 or 5 passes in.
