Attention: TDR Forum Junkies
To the point: Click this link and check out the Front Page News story(ies) where we are tracking the introduction of the 2025 Ram HD trucks.

Thanks, TDR Staff

Two weeks and a handful of days

OK computer freaks...what does this mean?

This is awesome news and certainly a big morale boost to troops and Iraqis alike. Our hats off to our military and President Bush for sticking to our guns and rooting him out.

Bush does make a point that this won't automatically mean the end of violence and casualties, but hopefully we've rounded the corner now and we'll move closer to wrapping this all up and bring our troops home with our objectives completed.

I will commend those who captured the fool and wonder how they exercised restraint by not shooting him when they found him... ... ..... Andy

Well, Hammer, the guys in the 4th Infantry Div. are Pro's! Well-trained and disciplined troops. I would love to see an interview with the guys who popped the lid off of his hidey-hole and ordered him out! I bet the Liberal Media will NEVER show that interview though.

Hats off to the allies and their ongoing search that finally bore fruit!

Now we will see what happened with the WMD that the left is sure were never there. So lessee where things stand...

1. We failed because Saddam got away ... BZZZZTT Incorrect!

2. We were wrong to attack because the Iraqis were never involved with 9/11... BZZZZTT Incorrect!

3. We were wrong to attack because there were never any WMD, we haven't found them yet so clearly they don't exist just like Saddam... (tick tock, tick tock, still working)

Way to go!

Holy $#!t- I do not have cable or sattelite and just logged on to find out the latest in TDR land and am startled to learn this! I knew this site was good for more than our trucks:)

Just whan I wanted to get somthing done today- now I'll be on the web all afternoon.

"Killin's" too good for Sadam. Best thing is to keep him locked up like a rat with basic needs only while a tribunal is put together to try him. Prison with no perks is about all we can hope for these days for such a high profile perp.

That was Scott's (Kernel on here) Infantry Division who captured Saddam... I cant wait to talk to him! Oh well, maybe now we can get our loved ones back over here sooner!

Worth it?

I am glad we finally got him. He looked like a old worn out bum picked up from the back of some hovel. Was he worth 426 of our finest (not in my book)?:( I am betting he gets nailed before trial. And I also bet he doesen't give any locations or ammo to us before his trial!

I really hate to say it, but I will probably have to put up with Bushs smirking for another four years now!

CF-

Not if you get all of your friends together and vote WILLIE NELSON FOR PRESIDENT!!!!!:D

Just a thought.

This is great news. I hope he spills is guts on France, Germany, and the rest of the countries that wanted to keep him in power.

You shouldn't watch the "c"linton "n"ews "n"etwork. This had to have been just as hard to report as the day G. W. Bush took office.

Way to go U. S. A.

Our losses are a terrible thing however you look at it, but they were lost in an effort to remove an evil regime from power, liberate a country and play offense on another field rather than defense here, among other things. Not just to capture saddam. I'm tossed up on the idea of death penalty for this guy. On one hand I would definitely be standing in the looooonng line of folks that want a piece of him and make him die in a fashion as dragged out and painful as possible. On the other hand, if we do put him down, his followers and islamic extremists will hail him as a martyre and only give them more reason to build on the ideals of terrorism. My cousin is a military interrogator, though not likely the one to work over saddam, but if his colleagues are anything like him, they'll have him singin' like a canary in no time. Time will tell. Either way this is great news indeed.

Many thanks and prayers to our troops. There's nothing stronger than the heart of a volunteer.

PLaFrombois,

With all due respect, as I'm sure you get your news straight from the LBS network, but I don't recall France and Germany wanting to keep Saddam in power. I recall them not wanting to attack a country unless there was proof of WMD as that was the reason for going in. There was no proof, and they didn't support our attack on the country of IRAQ. Now Saddam has been captured and will stand trial for his actions against his own people. Be happy.

I turned on the TV when I read of Saddam's capture this morning. I changed channels until I saw news of his capture. It happened to be on CNN. They had the same news to report as any other channel. It just happened to be on instead of a commercial when I was looking for news. They didn't mention Clinton's name the first time. They played Bush's four minute speech and didn't appear to be in any pain. Maybe I missed something.

There are also over 400,000 known dead Iraqis that he isn't worth their lives either.

Sacrifice - giving of oneself for others. God Bless the ones that are willing to make the sacrifice and those that support them!

Is it possible to have civil discussion about the capture of Saddam? I would hope that a site comprised of grown adults won't have to resort to baiting and assumptions about how the "other side" feels about it.

IMO, Saddam's capture is good news for most countries. I don't think anyone here will disagree.

What suprised me was that he went down without a fight.

Thanks and congrats!

Oo.

Thanks to all those who have served and are currently serving in our Armed Forces.

Job well done and a Merry Christmas!

And to the rest of you that would like to turn this into a political discussion, I think little of your opinion right now.
