The Salt Lake City get together went off as planned. I counted 14 trucks and about 20 people that showed up. This was a great turnout for an event with such short notice. Both the owners and their trucks were first rate. The trucks that were at the GTG were all second generation trucks. There were two-wheel drive trucks, four-wheel drive trucks, quad cabs, regular cabs and trucks that went from mild to wild. As one might imagine, there was a lot of discussion about the trucks and their various modifications. After the discussions, several of the people adjourned to the restaurant where even more discussions took place. After this most everyone left with the exception of a few die-hards. The die-hards decided to have a mini-rally up Big Cottonwood Canyon. This ended up at a gorgeous lookout that according to my GPS was just shy of 10,000 feet. I will try and post some of the pictures that were taken at the GTG. Thanks to all of you that showed up. There may be a more formal Salt Lake GTG in the future. Several people expressed an interest in having a "Dyno Day". We'll see what happens.
