Interesting TT - this one has an UPSTAIRS....

RVing using Biodiesel

I wonder why the salvage title, if it wasn't damaged from the theft. Or, if they are hiding something.

$2/loaded mile sure is steep for being delivered by a pickup truck. $1. 25-1. 50 sounds more than reasonable.

some states call any stolen and recovered vehicle "salvage". $2 per mile isnt that rediculous. when you figure out operating costs. I get that.

I would be wary of it for one reason: The trend around here the last couple of years when these are stolen is to move it to a well hidden location and use it as a meth lab. Common problem with fish houses too.

Friend of ours had their brand new TT stolen last year, and it was found about 3 weeks later out in the woods about 100 miles north of the Twin Cities. The insurance company was very anxious to fix the damaged components and have the owner take it back into possesion, but they found out through law enforcement officials just what the trailer had been through. They refused to take the old trailer back and the insurance company replaced it, but nobody seems to know what happened to the original one. You can bet your bottom dollar the insurance company did not want to scrap it out, so it was probably sold to someone else without proper disclosure of it's history. Don't think I'd want a trailer that had been used as a meth lab, I don't want to expose myself or my family members to the stuff that is soaked into the carpet, furniture, and walls!

if it were use as a meth lab it would smell! but that is very possible. I can definately see that happen. they like to keep them somewhat mobile.

My boy works for the govt... and is on loan to FEMA when they need him... He's an engineer and a contract specialist..... which means he overseas large sums of money on large repair projects..... (any more information and he'd have to kill you... Smiles)

When he was in FL 2 or 3 winters ago... they bought (govt) several thousand travel trailers that were used for temporary living while property was being cleared and homes rebuilt... . I asked what would happen to these when they were done with them... and he said they would go to auction... .

He than mentioned that most of them... . would be trashed or close to that from full time living and the kind of people that would be living in them.....

I can't say if this is or isn't one of these trailers... . But from what I've learned from him I wouldn't get close to one that might have been part of that lot... .

I wonder if Car Fax has the ability to run the vin on a trailer the way they run the vin on a car... .
